Frequently Asked Questions Q. What is Hydrotherapy? A. Hydrotherapy is the use of water in the treatment of illness and
stress. Since the days of the ancient Greeks, man has recognised the soothing,
curative powers of bathing. At the beginning of the last century the medical
profession identified these benefits and began to prescribe hydrotherapy using
whirlpools a treatment which is now used in clinics and hospitals
worldwide.
Hydromassage:- - Improves Circulation
- Redusec stress and anxiety
- Induces mental relaxation

Q. What is a whirlpool bath? A. Your whirlpool bath is a normal domestic bath which has been converted
by adding a pump, pipework, jets and a control. Water is drawn from a suction
point on the side of the bath and is delivered, mixed with air via the pump to
the jets. The jets are strategically positioned around the sides of the bath.
The volume of the air from the control determines the power of the jets. A
whirlpool bath is emptied after each use and the water will drain out of the
pipework back into the bath. Q. What is the difference between a Whirlpool and
a Jacuzzi? A. Jacuzzi is a brand name of the company who first produced whirlpool
baths and thats the word that most people associate with whirlpool baths a
bit like Hoover (vacuum cleaners) or Stanley (knives). Q. How does a whirlpool work? A. Fill the bath as normal (about 1 above the jets) then simply press
the centre of the on/off button to activate the whirlpool pressing again will
switch the system off. When the system is on the power can be adjusted by
turning the outer part of the control clockwise and anti-clockwise. This will
increase and decrease the power from the jets accordingly. Q. Can all my family use the
whirlpool? A. Yes because the system can be used at different power levels all the
family can enjoy the new fun and exiting way of bathing. Q. What is the difference between a whirlpool and
an airspa? A. Unlike the whirlpool an airspa uses a blower instead of a pump. Warm
air is blown through small air jets strategically positioned on the base of the
bath to create a massaging turbulence throughout the bathing area. The water is
not re-circulated and after bathing the water not need to be chemically treated
due to each system having a hygiene option which dries out each jet ensuring
that the system is totally dry after being used. Q. Can all my family use an
airspa? A. Yes all our airspa systems have variable power settings allowing all
the family to enjoy the new fun and exiting way of bathing. Q. Which system should I choose? A. It is down to your own personal preference but whirlpools are still
the most popular systems in the UK. If you can't decide then why not have both
fitted to your bath for the ultimate hydrotherapy system for your bath. Q. Will a whirlpool or airspa take up more space
in my bathroom? A. No. In most cases the pump / blower, pipework and control are all
fitted within the confinements of your bath. Q. Why should I choose an Exclusive Whirlpool
